Who We Are
Jay S. McClaugherty, the firm's founder and managing partner, has been representing clients in civil trials for over 24 years. He has an AV rating with Martindale-Hubbell, is a member of the exclusive ABOTA fraternity of accomplished trial lawyers, and is listed in the MH Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers. Jay has consistently strived to provide the highest quality services to clients and has the results to prove it. His record of success representing defendants in 68 jury trials includes fewer than 10 verdicts in which plaintiffs achieved any award for general damages. Many of these 68 cases went to trial because plaintiffs were seeking significant recovery for serious injuries, including wrongful death, brain injury, and other high exposure matters.
